Fable: Books & TV

Books, TV and conversation in one place

Fable: Books & TV helps readers and viewers discover stories, keep track of what they are reading or watching, and discuss them with other fans. It suits anyone who wants more than a private reading list, from casual readers looking for recommendations to people who enjoy organized book clubs and TV discussions.

Find something to read or watch

The app brings together books and television shows in a personalized feed. You can follow friends, authors, reviewers and other fans, then browse recommendations, ratings, reviews, lists and current trends. A mood quiz can also help narrow down your next choice when you are not sure what fits.

• Save books and shows to lists such as currently reading, currently watching, wanted and finished.
• Create custom lists around particular genres, themes or interests.
• Rate and review books, including half-star ratings and expressive tags.
• Import book lists from Goodreads and Kindle.

Join clubs and share progress

Fable includes book clubs and TV clubs for shared reading and viewing. Join an existing group or create one for friends, family or colleagues. Club discussions can be organized around chapters and episodes, giving members a place to talk while keeping later plot details separate. Private messages and group chats support smaller conversations, too.
